Perfect Bu!! continues the journey this Friday in the second race, post time is approximately 7:27 pm. The colt enters the race off of two solid runner-up finishes and a nice three furlong work this past Monday. The breeze was designed to keep the colt’s focus, and the lion needed a little time out of the den; horse or human, two-year olds tend to have an excess of energy. Continuing the colt’s mental preparedness, Canterbury Park Hall of Fame trainer Bernell Rhone brought the colt to the starting gate Thursday morning for another schooling session. The curriculum seems simple enough, walk in and stand in the gate. The education is one of association, reinforcing the notion that the big metal thing that resembles a trap is nothing of concern. All the parts are in place, the only question to be answered is if the colt can solve the puzzle.
